Congratulations to Somiraa Said for winning the Best Poster Award at the 30th Annual CBS Conference in Ottawa (May 29-June 1, 2013). Her Poster was titled "Controlled delivery of angiogenic factors from biodegradable amino-acid-based fibers for therapeutic angiogenesis. Her work is highlighted on the CBS website.
Dr. Mequanint was a visiting Professor at Addis Ababa Institute of Technology. Amongst other activities, he gave a talk titled "Recent changes in chemical engineering curriculum: The North American Perspective".
