Admission Process

The admission process for the Engineering in Medicine program is similar to other Collaborative Programs offered through Western's School of Graduate and Post-doctoral Studies. Students apply directly to one of the participating Departments through the Online Application System and indicate on the drop-down menu that they are interested in Engineering in Medicine option. After the student has been admitted into the program their application file will be reviewed by the members of the Joint Committee for the Engineering in Medicine program. Once approved by the Committee, the student's registration will be changed accordingly. Admission is based on applicant qualifications and enrolment limits.

English Language Proficiency Requirements

All applicants whose first language is not English or if an applicant has not completed 2 years of undergraduate or graduate education in an academic degree program at an English-speaking institution in a country whose official first language is English, must provide proof of your proficiency in English by successfully completing one of the following English Language Proficiency examinations.
