Western University PhD student Raymond Francis has received recognition from NASA for his exemplary work in planetary science and engineering, which includes operating the Curiosity rover on the surface of Mars from his lab in London, Ontario.

Robert Sobot Publishes Second Textbook
Professor Sobot leads the Implantable Systems Laboratory (ISL) within WesternECE. He has just published his second textbook on the topic of wireless communication electronics: Wireless Communication Electronics by Example. This book is intended for senior undergraduate and graduate students as well as practicing engineers who are involved in design and analysis of radio frequency (RF) circuits.
