What is Twitter?

Twitter is a free social networking service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the author's profile page and delivered to subscribers.

Western Engineering has set-up a service interruption Twitter account as a mechanism to notify interested parties about all service disruptions, event cancellations, and changes to classes occurring within the Faculty of Engineering at Western University. Interested parties are asked to join Twitter and follow @westernuEngSI to start receiving notifications.
