Sunday, November 18, 2018 - 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

On this day, please join us for one of our Faculty Overview and Student Panel presentations, Integrating Engineering and Business Presentation and Panel, meet with faculty, staff and students at our program display booths, Career Services and Undergraduate Services booths as well as the club, team and group displays. Visit over 10 different labs, meet the Dean, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Studies), Assistant Dean (First Year Studies), and professors!  Student Ambassadors will be conducting tours of the engineering buildings throughout the day.

Information Displays - Experiential Learning, Career Services, Information Technology Group, Student Clubs and Teams

Academic counsellors, Career Services staff, Information Technology team members and current students will be available to talk to you about enrichment opportunities, including co-op and internship, student clubs, groups and teams at Western Engineering.

Faculty Overview Presentation and Student Panel

9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. | 11:45 a.m. - 12: 45 a.m. | 2 - 3 p.m.
Room 1200, Spencer Engineering Building

This presentation will focus on the numerous opportunities available through our nine core Engineering programs, dual degrees, as well as co-op, internship and international opportunities. During the panel discussion, current students will take questions and offer their perspective on the options and opportunities in Western Engineering.


10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Student-led tours will be available during this period to program areas, labs and classrooms.

Integrating Engineering and Business Presentation and Panel

10:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. | 1 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.
Room 1200, Spencer Engineering Building

This presentation will focus on the value of combining engineering with business thinking for individuals who will lead organizations in creating real value for customers and society. Learn how Western Engineering creates increased opportunities for students through the Business 1299 course, Certificate in Engineering Leadership and Innovation or the Engineering/Ivey HBA dual degree program. Join in the discussion with our select panel.
