How to Set-up a New Team

Account Set-up

Project accounts have been set-up for all design/outreach initiatives. New requests can be submitted to Western Engineering’s Director, Financial Services by completing an Annual Plan & Funding Request.


Donor pledges of more than $1,000 should be in writing to support funding plans. For more information, follow link.

Signing Authority

An updated Account Signing Authority Form must be on file for each student club, group or team.

Role of Student Group Members

Work cooperatively with team members under the guidance of a Faculty Advisor to achieve the objectives defined in your annual plan and operate within available funding.

Role of Faculty Advisors

Will act in an advisory capacity and assist the student group in areas such as project planning, operations and technical consulting; approve expenses over $500.
