Dr. Takashi Kuboki received his Ph.D. from Kyushu University, Japan. After graduation, he was appointed as Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), Post-doctoral Fellow in the University of Alberta, Alberta Ingenuity Industrial Associate, and Associate Director and Research Associate of the Microcellular Plastics Manufacturing Laboratory (MPML) and Centre for Industrial Application of Microcellular Plastics (CIAMP) in the University of Toronto. 

Currently, Dr. Kuboki is Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at Western University. His main research expertise is in the area of process-structure-property relationships of synthetic and natural fiber composites, biocomposites, nanocomposites, polymer blends, synthetic and biopolymers, and their foams.
