What makes you proud to be Canadian?

I am proud to be Canadian because politically it is a relatively safe and sane environment with freedom of speech and religion as compared to other countries around the world.  There are many other good characteristics that also contribute to making me proud to be Canadian, such as: relatively clean environment, vast open spaces, friendly and polite society, etc.

What would you consider your most treasured memory from your time as a Western Engineering student?

There are many treasured memories as a Western Engineering student.  I remember with fondness many of my professors from all departments and how friendly and helpful they were throughout my time at Western.

 Why do you value your Engineering degree?

My Engineering degree opened many doors for me as I followed my passion by giving me the opportunity to receive an Athlone Fellowship to do post-graduate studies in England and to earn a PhD and to follow-up with a career in engineering education and industry.
