2020 CEE WEDD and City of London Design Competition Results

Congratulations to all groups who presented their design concepts at the 2020 CEE Western Engineering Design Day Competition on Friday, February 14, 2020; and the City of London Design Competition on Friday, March 6, 2020.  The judges were impressed with the continued high caliber of the designs presented by our students.

2020 City of London Design Competition Results

The first place prize this year was awarded to The TAW Group  Basem Abdelrahman, Elijah Anzai, Jordan Tasker-Fernandes, Megan Tavender, and Riley White for their design of the Labatt Trunk Sanitary Sewer Realignment.

The second place prize was awarded to JMC Consulting - Joseph Giammarco, Jean Philip Labonte, Jacob Hatton, Cody Kellogg, and Mackenzie Chiasson for their design of the Becher Pedestrian Bridge.

Two third place prizes were awarded:

Enovva Inc. – Merva El-Gharably, Adam Blazejowski, Anthony Ruscitti, Mai Hussien, and Aya El Mallah for their design of the Becher Pedestrian Bridge.

Western Bridge Group - Jacob Hogan, David Crozier, Salim Daher, Andrew Paul, and Christopher Kwan for their design of the Thames Valley Parkway North Branch Pedestrian Bridge.

 

2020 CEE Western Engineering Design Day Competition Results

The first place winner and winner of the IBI Group Civil Engineering Design Project Prize was presented to Western Bridge Group - Jacob Hogan, David Crozier, Salim Daher, Andrew Paul, and Christopher Kwan for their design of the Thames Valley Parkway North Branch Pedestrian Bridge.

The Demarco Green Technologies awarded for the sustainability aspects of design was presented to GEMM Group Ltd. – Erin Somers, Gillian Wilton, Mohammad Hammad, Mohammad Noor Tamim for their design of the Summercrest Stormwater Management Facility.
