The Department of Civil and Environemtnal Engineeirng offices will be closing at 3:00pm on Thursday, April 1, 2021 for the holiday weekend. Department staff will be avilable for regular business hours on Monday April 5, 2021. Have a safe holiday weekend.

Professor El Naggar earns top scholar honours

Civil and Environmental Engineering professor Hesham El Naggar has been honoured with a Distinguished University Professorship.

The award acknowledges sustained excellence in scholarship over a substantial career at Western. The award includes a citation, title, public lecture and a $10,000 prize to be used for scholarly activity.
