CSME Gold Medal Application

The CSME Gold Medal is awarded to a graduating student in MME who has an outstanding record of extracurricular activities that demonstrate and/or promote the profession of engineering within and beyond the Western community combined with consistently strong academic performance over Years 2, 3 and 4 of the Mechanical Engineering program.

In the context of this award, strong academic performance will be assimilated with a cumulative year weighted average of minimum 75 over Years 2, 3 and 4 of the mechanical engineering program. For students enrolled in combined/concurrent programs, only credits used towards their BESc degree will be included in the weighted average calculation.

The deadline to apply for the 2024 graduating class is May 6, 2024 by 4:00 pm. Applications received after this date and time will be disregarded.
