Biomedical Engineering

Sydney Robinson is currently pursuing an MESc in Biomedical Engineering at Western University. She received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Biomechanics from Queen's University in April 2019. Sydney's thesis project will focus on measuring the dynamic movements of the wrist using four-dimensional computed tomography to accurately identify scapholunate instabilities. She will focus on various loaded and unloaded functional tasks to quantify coupled wrist motions. This research has the potential to revolutionize the way dynamic wrist pathologies are diagnosed and treated.
