What inspired you to choose engineering?

I’ve always been interested in knowing how things work and I love helping people so Engineering was the best fit for me.

Can you talk about your residence experience?

In my first year, I stayed in Essex Hall. This residence has an engineering floor which was the 6th floor at the time. Each suite contained 4 single rooms, a living area with a kitchen, two storage units and two bathrooms. I became friends with my roommates and other students on my floor in no time, and when I had issues with school work it was easy for me to find someone to help me out. The residence is also a two minute walk from the bus stop and it is opposite a 7-Eleven store, Subway, and Pizza Hut, so anytime I wanted a late night snack I knew I had options. The cafeteria also serves lovely food and that kept me going when I was too lazy to cook.
