Throughout Western Engineering’s program, I’ve experienced numerous experiential learning opportunities, like lab experiments and design projects. These activities reinforce my learning, fostering practical skills and problem-solving abilities, bridging the gap between theory and practice, and further helping me prepare for a successful engineering career.

Study tips for current/future students?

My study tips for current/future students include prioritizing time management to ensure a balanced schedule, taking thorough notes during lectures for later review, and actively engaging with professors and TAs through office hours. Additionally, studying in groups for collaboration and peer support, maintaining a healthy lifestyle with adequate sleep and a healthy diet, and regularly self-assessing and adjusting study strategies are essential for academic success.

Can you talk about your residence experience?

Living in residence was a transformative experience. It not only provided a convenient living situation but also enriched my social life. Sharing a space with fellow students allowed me to meet like-minded individuals who quickly became my closest friends.
