Graduate Research Symposium

The ECE Department organizes a Graduate Research Symposium every year during the second full week of May. In each Research Field, every student formally presents his/her research and the performance is evaluated by the faculty members in that Field. Each Ph.D. student presents this Seminar twice in his/her four year PhD program whereas an MESc student is required to present the seminar once in the second year of his/her program. To encourage excellence, awards are given for outstanding presentation in each Research Field. Yearly attendance at Symposium is mandatory for all students in the MESc & PhD programs.

Requirements:

PhD Students: 2 presentations during their 4 year program

MESc Students: 1 presentation during their 2 year program
