We have opportunities available for both university and high school students!
During the school year we looking for university students interested in volunteering in our Girls Club program as well as a variety of special events. If you are interested in applying as a Senior Instructor with Discovery Western this is a great opportunity for you to learn more about our program.
For high school students, we have volunteer opportunities in our Discovery Western Camps. These positions are typically for high school students in Grades 11 or 12. Volunteers assist all the Instructors during the camp sessions in July and August. All volunteers will receive volunteer credit. Some of the volunteer tasks will include supervising projects and activities.
To become a volunteer we require you to complete a successful interview followed by a training session and a successful police record check. For volunteers aged 16-18 we also require a parental permission form to be completed.
