Welcome to Western Engineering Outreach

Western Engineering Outreach is an organization run by Western Engineering which strives to increase the awareness of and cultivate interest in engineering and technology in young peoples through interactive and innovative programs in London, Ontario and the surrounding communities.

Western Engineering Outreach Programs

Western Engineering Outreach offers exciting programs for elementary and high school students, as well as partnering with community organizations to reach as many aspiring minds as possible. These programs aim to inspire and empower students with engineering skills. Learn more about our Pre-University Programs and Community Partnerships.

In-School Workshops

During the months of November - December and May - June we offer workshops for elementary and secondary schools. These workshops are a fun and interactive way for your class to cover the Ontario Science and Technology curriculum requirements. Summer Camps

During the months of July and August we run a dynamic summer camp program promoting science and engineering through hands-on projects and demonstrations. Our summer camp program is for children Grades 2 to 8 and is offered in London, Sarnia and Port Elgin. Check out our Summer Camp Page to learn more.

Girls Programs

We offer many programs aimed to promote engineering to girls, using the broadest definition of girl to include anyone identifying as female.
