Research Interests / Specializations: Internet of Things (IoT), network optimization, Machine Learning.
Biography: Cesar received his BE degree in Electronics Engineering from St. Thomas Aquinas University at Bogota, in 2005. He completed his MESc degree in Telecommunications Engineering at National University of Colombia, in 2010. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Western University. His background includes experience in ICT industry as Network Engineer at companies such as Siemens, ZTE, and Nortel. He also has collaborated with the Cisco Networking Academy initiative at several post-secondary institutions.
Hassan Hawilo

Research Interests / Specializations: cloud computing, virtualization technologies, software defined network, network function virtualization, distributed systems, and highly available software
Biography: Hassan Hawilo received his B.E. degree in communication and electronics engineering in 2012 from Beirut Arab University, Lebanon. In 2015, he received his M.E.Sc. in computer and software engineering from Western University, Canada. He is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree in computer networks and cloud computing virtualization technologies at Western University, Canada. His research interests include cloud computing, virtualization technologies, software defined network, network function virtualization, distributed systems, and highly available software.
Mohamed Noor Injadat

Mohamed Noor Injadat

Research Interests / Specializations: Data Mining, Machine Learning, Data Analytic and Cloud Computing in different fields such as e-Learning and Network Security .
Biography: Mohamed received the B.Sc., M.Sc. and Meng. degrees in Computer Science and Electrical & Computer Engineering from Al al-Bayt University, University Putra Malaysia, and University of Western Ontario in Jordan, Malaysia, and Canada in 2000, 2002, and 2015 respectively. Currently pursuing his Ph.D. (started September 2015) in Software Engineering at the University of Western Ontario.

Research Interests / Specializations: Embedded Systems, 5G Applications, Wireless Communication
Biography: Sara Zimmo completed her BESc in Electrical & Computer Engineering as well as the Technological Entrepreneurship Certificate at Western University in 2012. In 2014, she achieved her Masters in Biomedical Engineering, mainly working with KUKA robots, and during which time she received an Advanced KUKA Programming Certificate. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering, specializing in embedded systems and 5G wireless communication at Western University.
Elena Uchiteleva

Elena Uchiteleva

Research Interests / Specializations: Wireless communications, wireless sensor networks (WSNs), data networks, resource virtualization, security and cryptography, machine learning.
Biography: Elena Uchiteleva received her B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel, in 2010; and her M.E.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Western University, London, Ontario, Canada, in 2013. In 2014 she joined the Optimized Computing and Communications Lab (OC2) at Western University, where she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Besides her research activity, Elena is an active volunteer and a leader in the IEEE community. She serves as the Chair of the IEEE Canada Member Services Group (MSG) committee and as a Co-Chair of the IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Summit Toronto 2018 (IEEE WIE ILS Toronto 2018). Elena is the past Chair of the IEEE Canada WIE committee and of the IEEE WIE London Section affinity group.

Biography: Li Yang received the B.E. degree in computer science from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China in 2016 and the MASc degree in Engineering from University of Guelph, Guelph, Canada, 2018. Since 2018 he has been working toward the Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Western University, London, Canada.
