Group Activities

  • On the 19th of December, our research group held a spectacular Christmas dinner at the Platts Lane Community Center. It was an evening filled with joy, laughter, and a strong sense of camaraderie.
We indulged in a sumptuous dinner, savoring delicious dishes that added to the merriment. After dinner, the real fun began. We divided into three groups and engaged in two exciting games. In one game, we had a tower-building competition. Each group was given a set of materials and they had to use their creativity and teamwork to build the tallest tower possible. The children who accompanied some of our group members were especially enthusiastic, their little hands busily helping to stack and arrange the building blocks. It was amazing to see the different designs and strategies that each group came up with.

The other game was a paper airplane flying contest. We folded paper airplanes with great care and then took turns to launch them. Everyone watched with anticipation as the paper planes soared through the air. The children's eyes were filled with wonder and excitement as they cheered for the planes that flew the farthest. Laughter and shouts of encouragement filled the hall as we compared the distances and celebrated the achievements of each group.

This Christmas dinner was not merely a social gathering, it was an opportunity for us to strengthen the bonds within our research group. It allowed us to step away from the rigors of our work and connect on a more personal level. Through conversations and shared experiences, we deepened our understanding and respect for one another.

We are truly grateful for the chance to have such a wonderful event. It has left us with wonderful memories. We look forward to more such occasions in the future that will continue to enhance the spirit of our research group.
