Application Information
The application period for the 2026 program is now open. Apply by Sunday, July 19.
Eligible students are invited to apply to the RBC Design Thinking Program. To apply, students must submit an application that involves answering questions, providing a resume, and submitting a link to a video "audition". Apply through the RBC Design Thinking Program 2026 Application.
To be eligible to enter the program, you must be an undergraduate student who will be entering your third year of any program at Western or affiliate colleges (excluding HBA1) or fourth year HBA double degree of study in the fall 2026 term.
Students admitted into the program must be able to attend all sessions including:
- Tuesdays 5:00-7:00pm during the fall term (Tuesday, September 15-Tuesday, December 1, excluding fall reading week).
- Saturday, September 19 from 10:00am-4:00pm
- Saturday, November 7 from 10:00am-4:00pm
- Additional mutually agreed upon meetings and working sessions

The application process for the RBC Design Thinking Program is competitive. A select number of candidates will be invited into the Program by mid-August, 2026. Applications will be reviewed through a multi-phase process. All applicants will be informed of their status by mid-late August.
