Postdoctoral Positions Available

We have several postdoctoral positions available now.  The topics are specified as below, but not limited to.

  1. Developing solid-state electrolytes with high ionic conductivity, good air stability, and low cost, including oxide electrolytes, sulfide electrolytes, and polymer electrolytes.
  2.  The interface design of solid-state lithium batteries, aiming for overcoming interfacial challenges in solid-state lithium batteries using solid-state oxide, sulfide, or polymer electrolytes.
  3. Li/Na anode protection.
  4. Manufacturing of pouch cells.

If you have a good publication record and/or rich experience in solid-state lithium batteries. please contact Prof. Sun at xsun9@uwo.ca

Ph.D. and Master Students

We also have positions for Ph.D. and Master students, focusing on the research and development of solid-state batteries.

  1. Advanced nanomaterials for Li-ion batteries, Na-ion batteries, Li-S, Li-O2, Na-O2 batteries.
  2. Single-atom catalysts for PEM fuel cells.
  3. Interface design for solid-state batteries via atomic layer deposition and/or molecular layer deposition.
  4. Li/Na anode protection.

We are looking for self-motivated and independent people who are dedicated to scientific study and addressing key challenges.  If you are interested, please contact Prof. Sun at xsun9@uwo.ca.
