Special consideration will be given to students working in the area of dynamics and soil-structure interaction who have demonstrated a sound academic background and a potential for contribution to the engineering profession in general.
Award recipients: Alper Turan and Mrinmoy Kanungo

R.M. Quigley Award
The R.M. Quigley Award is named after Dr. R.M. Quigley, the founding director of the Geotechnical Research Centre and a distinguished Canadian Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineer. The award is typically awarded annually to an engineer or scientist to pursue graduate studies in Geotechnical Engineering at The University of Western Ontario. Special consideration will be taken of a candidate's academic, professional and general contributions to the engineering profession.
Award recipients: Xueying Liu and Muluken Yeheyis

L.G. Soderman Award
The L.G. Soderman Award, established in memory of the late Professor L.G.
