Camp Dates & Themes

Our camp is centered around fun engineering and science activities that are geared towards the age of our campers. Many of our activities are inspired by the Ontario Science Curriculum to ensure that material is relevant and educational. We balance fun games, crafts, and activities with educational material to reinforce the week's theme and daily science and engineering activities in an age and developmentally appropriate manner.

Please note that camp themes and activities are offered twice throughout the summer. For example, each "STEAM Week" week contains the same set of activities and camp content.

Theme: STEM-gineers | Week 1 (June 29) & Week 6 (August 3)

Calling ALL Engineers! Jump into the world of engineering this summer with fun, hands-on and explorative learning. Build the skills engineers use everyday as you investigate, solve and create across the many disciplines of engineering and discover the engineer within you!

Note: Week 1 & Week 6 is a 4-day week and will reflect a cost reduction

Theme: Science, Tech, Engineering, ARTS and Math (STEAM) | Week 2 (July 6) & Week 5 (July 27)

Get ready to mix art with science, tech, engineering and math for a totally fun STEAM camp! We’ll have creative crafts, and science and engineering activities that let you explore the amazing world of STEM through your imagination. This week is all about making cool things and discovering the beauty of STEM in ways you never expected!

Note: In Week 2, this theme is also offered as a Just for Girls camp. Just for Girls camp is open to Grade 4 to 6 girls, including campers who identify as girls and nonbinary youth.

Theme: Engineering & Space | Week 3 (July 13) & Week 7 (August 10)

Blast off into an out-of-this-world camp adventure! This week, we’ll explore science, engineering and space through awesome activities, cool challenges, creative crafts and tons of fun. Get ready to discover what it’s like to be an engineer and explore the mysteries of the universe!

Theme: Engineer It! Builders and Makers | Week 4 (July 20) & Week 8 (August 17)

This week, campers will dive into the world of building, designing, and creating through hands-on projects and teamwork. Whether you’re a curious first-time builder or an experienced maker, this week is all about experimenting, problem-solving, and bringing big ideas to life - one activity at a time!

Note: In Week 8, this theme is also offered as a Just for Girls camp. Just for Girls camp is open to Grade 4 to 6 girls, including campers who identify as girls and nonbinary youth.

Camp Dates, Grades, Theme, & Cost

During the summer months, students and campers are grouped based on the grade that they will be entering in the fall succeeding that summer. For example: if your camper is in Grade 2 at the time of registration, then they will be entering Grade 3 in the fall and therefore should register for the Grade 2 to 3 group for summer camp.

For our Grade 2 to 3 and Grade 4 to 6 age cohorts, campers will be placed into two groups. Please see our FAQ page for information on Friend or Grouping Requests and related policies.
