Study the physical, chemical, mechanical, biological and controlled release properties of materials for medical devices.

Design and fabricate medical devices based on the biomaterials developed.

Study the response of cells to the presence and in contact with biomaterials.

Predict and extrapolate behaviour of biomaterials and medical devices using computer modeling.
