Professional Biography

Dr. Papari is a Postdoctoral Associate at Western University's Institute for Chemicals and Fuels from Alternative Resource (ICFAR) and is part of the NSERC IRC in Thermochemical Conversion of Biomass and Waste to Bioindustrial Resources research team. He has been with this group since July 2019. Prior to joining ICFAR, Dr. Papari worked as a postdoctoral fellow, seasonal instructor, and project manager at Memorial University, Newfoundland. Sadegh received his Ph.D. from Memorial University of Newfoundland, in St. John's, in 2017.

 


 

Research Interests

Dr. Papari is interested in pyrolysis of biomass, valorization of waste, activation of bio-char, extraction of value-added chemicals from bio-oil, and generation of fuels from waste materials.
