Program Policies and Procedures

Any student who is approved to participate in the Master of Engineering (MEng) with Co-op Option program and who receives several offers in and turns them down without cause, will be withdrawn from the program and not permitted to apply for any additional postings.

Any student who accepts a Co-op offer and then reneges on the offer prior to beginning employment will receive an "FAI" in the Co-op course and will be required to pay the Co-op tuition.

Any student who begins their Co-op employment and subsequently terminates their position prior to the end of the full contract term without cause, will receive an "FAI" in the Co-op course and will be required to pay the Co-op tuition.

Any student whose Co-op employment is terminated due to economic reasons and/or health/compassionate reasons, will be withdrawn (WDN) at the discretion of Engineering Career Services from the Co-op course previously registered in, and will be required to the pay the Co-op Tuition.

Any student who is withdrawn from the Co-op program due to academic reasons (ie: a scholastic offence) will receive an "FAI" in the Co-op course and will be required to pay the Co-op tuition.

The Co-op tuition is NON-REFUNDABLE. Late payment of the Co-op tuition will result in the accrual of late charges at the current university rate. Non-payment of the Co-op tuition will result in an academic seal.

Personal information such as your name and address and e-mail address will not be available to anyone beyond Engineering Career Services staff except when you take the initiative to apply to a job posting or submit your resume for viewing by participating employers.

Engineering Career Services will only use your personal information to facilitate your involvement in the work search and career development activities it offers as a part of its mandate.
