Western Water Chapter was selected as the top student chapter across Ontario by WEAO for 2018!

Western Water Chapter is proud to announce that we placed third for our Career Showcase which was apart of the Engineering Student Outreach Challenge! 

This event took place on March 14th and was attended by a wide range of engineering students interested in water and envrironmental engineering sectors. We were fortunate to have representatives from the City of London, the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, and consulting firms. Each representative gave a presentation explaining the typical requirements in their field and students were given an opportunity to network with our presentors. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this event such a success! 


About Western Water Chapter

The purpose of WEAO/OWWA's Western Water Chapter is to make a bridge between the students of University of Western Ontario and the water industry. Student chapter coordinates with Water Environment Association Ontario (WEAO) and the Ontario Water Works Association (OWWA) to enhance the professional development of its members through communication and knowledge sharing with water industry professionals. We organize special water treatment plant tours, technical and informative seminars and webcasts, networking events through WEAO. Western Water Chapter always invites the students who are interested to make their career in water industries.
