Welcome to Discovery Western

Welcome to Discovery Western

Discovery Western is an organization run by Western Engineering which strives to increase the awareness of engineering and technology to young people in London, Ontario and surrounding communities. Please visit our About DW page for more information on who we are, what we do, and how we do it!

During the months of May and June we offer workshops for elementary and secondary schools. These workshops are a fun and interactive way for your class to cover the Ontario Science and Technology curriculum requirements. To learn more about the workshops we offer check out our Workshop Information Page.

Summer Camp

During the months of July and August we run a dynamic summer camp program promoting science and engineering through hands-on projects and demonstrations. Our summer camp program is for children Grades 2 to 8 and is offered in London, Sarnia and Port Elgin. Check out our Summer Camp Page to learn more.

If you are interested in programs for students in Grades 9 to 12 check out our Western Engineering Summer Academy.

Girls Programs

We offer many programs aimed to promote engineering to girls, using the broadest definition of girl to include anyone identifying as female.
