Tsunami

Western Engineering can contribute to the tsunami relief efforts in many other ways as well.  We have expertise in areas such as: power systems, energy management, earthquakes and soil stability, energy from biomass, structural engineering, wind engineering, fluid mechanics, among many others.  In addition, our own students have created a local chapter of "Engineers Without Borders."

If you have any suggestions on ways that you can contribute to the tsunami relief efforts, please contact your Department Chair.  Dean Berruti is a member of the Western tsunami relief committee.  Any suggestions you share with your Department Chair will be passed along to Dean Berruti to share with the committee.
