Simonovic receives NSERC/PSPEC grant

Professor Slobodan Simonovic, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, in collaboration with researchers from Carlton and York University, has been awarded an NSERC/PSPEC grant.  

The funding totals $585,500 over the next three years which allows for the construction of a mini-network for GIS-based emergency disaster management and modeling.  

This was the first round of funding by Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada organization (PSPEC) in partnership with the NSERC.
