Each year, the Engineering Health Equity community participates in a summer retreat. This retreat is not just another academic event - it is a gathering of passionate change-makers who gather to share ideas, support one another, learn and collaborate.
In 2026, we are collaborating with the University of Toronto's CaRDM Eq (Translating Cardiovascular Remote Diagnostic & Monitoring Technologies for Health Equity (CaRDM Eq) to jointly host the Health Equity in Biomedical Engineering research retreat.
