Spring Club

Every spring, Discovery Western offers a co-ed science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) club for students in Grades 3-8.

Spring Club runs for four Saturdays in the Spencer Engineering Building on the Western University campus during the months of May and June. The cost for the program is $80 which includes meeting with mentors, take-home projects, snacks and much more! Registration is now open.

Session Times

Grade 6-8: 1pm-3pm | Click here to view what activities your child will get to do

Spring club focusses on a variety of engineering streams with a mentor being brought in for each session, where possible. Past projects have included building a Rube Goldberg machine, making lava lamps and designing balloon-powered cars.

Session dates: June 2, 9, 16 & 23.

Our last meeting is an open house for parents and guardians to join us for a day of celebrating our participants' accomplishments throughout the session. Each participant receives a certificate to mark the occasion.

We would like to make this program as accessible as possible, so if you require financial assistance please email us at discover@uwo.ca to request a bursary application.
