Dr. Binns completed his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University in 2012. Following a postdoctoral position at the University of Guelph in 2012 Dr. Binns joined the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Western in 2013.

His research includes topics in the areas of water resources engineering, fluvial hydraulics in rivers and streams, hydrology, and hydrodynamic processes.
