Engineering Excellence Admission Program
Western Engineering will guarantee acceptance into the student's
department of choice within the Faculty of Engineering, to all Western
students satisfying the following conditions.
Ontario Applicants
The student must have a mid-year and final grade average
of at least 85% on the courses required for admission into
the Faculty of Engineering. See our

Prerequisites page for full list of required courses.
AND
The student must successfully complete all requirements for
the first year Engineering program with at least a 70%
average on a full course load.

Out-of-Province and International Applicants
The student must have a mid-year to final grade average of at least 85% according to the calculations done by
Western University Admission Office.
AND
The student must successfully complete all requirements for
the first year Engineering program with at least a 70%
average on a full course load.

NOTE: There is a separate application procedure for
students in the combined degree program with Law, Medicine or Ivey.
