Intent to Register - Engineering
Are you planning to return to Western in
September, 2012? If so, you
must submit an
INTENT TO REGISTER
so that you will have access to the web registration system during the
summer months to register for Fall/Winter courses. If you don't submit
an
Intent to Register,
you will not have access to the web registration system.
There are two different methods of submitting an Intent to Register:
1.

New
concurrent degree students: |
|
|
Have your
paper Intent to Register form signed by the
Engineering Departmental Counsellor
for the year you are entering and have the concurrent degree
area of the
paper Intent to Register form signed by the
Faculty in which you plan to register for a concurrent degree
(if you will have completed the prerequisites before September).
Return the form to Undergraduate Services, SEB 2097. |

Withdrawing from concurrent degrees: |
|
|
Students in concurrent degrees who no longer want to pursue both
degree programs must make an appointment with your Academic
Counsellor in Engineering, SEB 2097, to discuss the changes and
complete the paper Intent to Register form. |

Students wishing to change their program:
|
|
|
Have your first choice program approved by having your
paper Intent to Register form signed by the
Departmental Counsellor of your first choice. Return the
form to Undergraduate Services, SEB 2097. |

Students currently in HBA1: |
|
|
Students have already completed an “application for the combined
program” from Ivey.
No further action is required. |

Students wishing to transfer to Engineering: |
|
|
Have your
paper Intent to Register form signed by an
Academic Counsellor from the Undergraduate Services Office, SEB
2097. Your second choice must be signed by the “default”
Department or Faculty if you are not admitted to Engineering.

TO SUBMIT AN ONLINE INTENT TO REGISTER, FOLLOW THESE STEPS STARTING FEBRUARY 1st:
STEP 1: VISIT www.westerncalendar.uwo.ca to view the online 2012-13 Academic Calendar and Program Progression Sheets from the Undergraduate Services Office, SEB 2097.
STEP 2: READ the Academic Calendar for graduation requirements, program requirements, course requisites (pre-, co- and anti-requisites), plan your program for 2012-13 and any courses to be taken in Summer 2012.
STEP 3: Seek counselling from a DEPARTMENTAL COUNSELLOR, if you have questions about the program, courses or course selection process for the upcoming year.
STEP 4: COMPLETE and SUBMIT your Web Intent to Register no later than 4:00 P.M. on March 31, 2012. To submit your Intent to Register online starting February 1st, you must login to the student services website at http://studentservices.uwo.ca.

STEP 2: To complete the form, hand it in to the Undergraduate Services Office, SEB 2097, no later than 4:00 P.M. March 31, 2012.
