The assembled team of experts comprising the lead researchers, academic collaborators, and industry partners has the extensive, and specialized expertise required for this multi-faceted program.

All the researchers have strong connections to industries including both equipment suppliers and consulting engineers, municipalities, provincial and federal government agencies and international organizations. 

TWNER embraces a training philosophy featuring a problem-based approach, aiming to generate future leaders and self-learning individuals.

The TWNER project is led by Director, Professor George Nakhla, who oversees the day-to-day operations, supported by the Researchers, Collaborators and Trainees and managed by the Program Coordinator, Aimee Froude.
