Mission Statement

The mission of this CREATE project is to develop a new generation of high calibre engineers and scientists that have the necessary skills and knowledge to address global water challenges, by providing a unique collaborative research and training environment for water engineers, researchers, scientists, managers, and policy makers.

The expected outcomes of this initiative will include well-trained and well-rounded graduates with sound technical, scientific, managerial, and entrepreneurial skills honed by rigorous research training, comprehensive multi-institutional and multi-disciplinary coursework in engineering, biology, chemistry, business, and social studies, as well as hands-on real-world experience. The program will also provide life-long learning opportunities for professional development of practitioners. Student mobility is enhanced through regional, national, and international collaboration and exchanges.
