Graduation Awards Ceremony honours Western Engineering’s brightest minds

Western Engineering’s alumni list grew by 215 members this past June as the Class of 2009 graduated from The University of Western Ontario on June 10.

Included in this group of outstanding engineers were 15 students receiving 18 awards from the Faculty of Engineering and community as a whole. [click here to view the program and detailed list of award recipients and names of all graduates]

“The Class of 2009 was an exceptional group,” says Amarjeet Bassi, Associate Dean (Academic). “The students in this class were hardworking, dedicated students. Many members of this group were leaders in extracurricular activities and research endeavours.”

“I am very proud of each and every student graduating from the Class of 2009,” continues Bassi. “The Faculty extends best wishes to our newest group of alumni. We look forward to continually reporting on their successes and accomplishments in the years to come.”
