			| Hugo deLasa, 
			
			a professor in the Department of  Chemical & Biochemical 
			Engineering and currently the Director of the Chemical Reactor 
			Engineering Centre, was presented with the 
			prestigious R.S. Jane Memorial Award at the 54th Canadian Chemical 
			Engineering Conference that took place in Calgary October 3 - 6.  
			Also at the conference, the CBE 497 group were chosen 
			as finalists to present their project, Hydrocracking of Vacuum 
			Gas Oil; and Babak Jajuee, a PhD student 
			
			in the Department of  Chemical & Biochemical Engineering, won the ISEE Graduate Student Paper
