NEW AND IMPROVED - Western Engineering & Science Research Showcase – January 25, 2008


This year we are presenting the Showcase in a new format. It will be held on Friday, January 25, 2008 in downtown London at the Convention Centre between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.

The venue has been moved downtown this year to accommodate the increased size of the event, and to provide a better opportunity for partnerships and networking between industry and university researchers.

The research will be organized into six key clusters, including:

  • Materials and Nanomaterials
  • Infrastructure and Natural Disaster Mitigation
  • Fluid Mechanics, Mathematics and Modeling
  • Computing, Information Technology and Robotics
  • Biological and Biomedical
  • Environment and Energy

    Once again this year we will be working with Research Western, OCE, LEDC, Western Research Parks and TechAlliance as well as local industry sponsors to increase our exposure to industry. For faculty and students who participate, this is an excellent opportunity to showcase your research, network with industry and market your research to prospective graduate students.
