Engineering Student Athletes Honoured
Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) and
Ontario University Athletics (OUA) have created two awards to recognize
student-athletes who maintain an average above 80%. The awards are called
the CIS Academic All Canadian Award and OUA Academic Achievement Award.
Western hosted a luncheon Wednesday, December
8, 2004 at the Great Hall to recognize Western students who received this honour. Six engineering students were recognized for their hard work in
the classroom and as part of a Western athletic team.
