How Do I Print (scan/fax)

Lab Printing - Students

Please go to the Stores area in Engineering (SEB room 14) to deposit money on your print account. A minimum deposit of $20 is required. Any unused balance is refunded at the end of the school year.

The cost is $0.10 for black and white per page and $0.50 per page for colour laser printing.

These printers are located in SEB rooms 1010, 2020, and 3108. Rooms in TEB are 244 and 454.

For printing colour transparencies (e.g.. PowerPoint) please see IT Staff for supply in room 1023-29. Please do not supply your own transparencies as you may damage the printer.

Office Printing - Graduate Students

We support network printers. In order for a printer to be registered as a network printer, please see the ITG help desk We do not support locally attached printers due to the time and complexity of configuring and managing.

Multi Functional Devices - Scanner/Fax/Copiers

These devices have many aspects to them ranging from photocopying to network file sharing and as such, some planning and preparation is required. When considering acquiring a Toshiba MFD device it is strongly advised that you include input from OE Canada (Toshiba equipment provider)  as well as from ITS (either locally at your Faculty or through the central facility).

There are several MFD options available to you from simple copiers to robust fax/print/scanner/copiers with colour capability.
