Anti-Virus Software Site License

Faculty & Staff Computer Systems

The University has purchased a site license for TREND antivirus software. It is a requirement that all systems connected to the campus backbone has TREND antivirus installed and kept up-to-date. Please contact the Engineering IT Staff to have the appropriate version of Trend Antivirus software installed for all Windows based PC's . Uninstallation of the any old antivirus software must also be done PRIOR to installing the Trend software. We only support TREND and any other anti virus software will be removed. Again, please contact a member of the IT staff to do this. Failure to do so may result in a non-useable PC and will result in a loss of data and re-installation of the operating system and application software.

Protection of your home system can be obtained by purchasing the latest Trend PC-CILLIN software from the Campus Computer Store for a small fee.
