ITG Help Desk

Building on Western Engineering's mission to provide high quality administrative and technical services to contribute to the advancement of learning and the best student experience, Western Engineering's Information Technology Group has recently reorganized their client services team to better meet your needs. As part of this reorganization, an ITG Help Desk has been created to improve IT support services and response times for faculty, staff and students.

Staff working at the Help Desk are the first point of contact and will be handling all incoming phone calls and emails with requests for service and will appropriately resolve and/or refer clients to ITG members for assistance.

Services Available

  • Support of lab computers
  • Setup and installation of new computers/equipment
  • Software Upgrades
  • Assistance with Western's Email and Calendar
  • Assist with Engineering Account Log-in Issues
  • Resolve Printing Issues
  • Troubleshoot wireless or wired connectivity issues
  • Support wireless laptops for students, faculty, and staff
  • Support to classrooms when having difficulty using media equipment
