The Western Engineering IT Group consists of support for Network, Email, Web, File Servers and Desktop/Laptop purchasing and ongoing support for faculty staff and students in the Faculty of Engineering. See below for an overview of some of the services we provide.

Engineering Accounts
Each faculty, staff and student within Engineering have a unique network account and personal file storage space located on our servers.

- Engsci-uwo-ca for Faculty and Staff
- Eng for Students
Purchasing
ITG offers purchase and installation of software and hardware for UWO provided equipment for faculty, staff, and graduate students.
Software
For students, all the software you will need to do your course work is available in all computer labs. For a list of all the available software, see the Lab Software List. The Campus Computer Store offers student pricing for software you would like to have on your personal computer.
ITG offers guidance for purchasing the appropriate computer, laptop, computer peripherals, printers, scanners, etc. based on your lab/office needs. This service is offered for faculty, staff, and graduate students. For more information, see How to Purchase a Computer or Hardware.
