Master of Engineering (MEng)
Program Information
The Master of Engineering (MEng) program at The University of
Western Ontario is offered to students who have a bachelor's
engineering degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited
university in Canada or elsewhere.
The MEng program offers a course-based degree that may be a
combination of course work and a project OR complete course work.
The MEng degree may be obtained either on a full-time or part-time
basis. The MEng program is typically one year in duration.
Minimum residency time is two academic semesters.
The MEng program provides an opportunity for qualified engineers to
improve his/her theoretical and practical skills. The flexibility of
the program enables students to be enrolled in courses directly
related to their careers in different areas of chemical/biochemical
engineering.

Admission Requirements
- Minimum 70% average in a four-year honours degree or equivalent from an accredited university (average based on last two years of the degree)
- Work experience is not mandatory, but applicants with work experience are given special consideration
- Two letters of reference (preferably academic)
- English language proficiency
- International students will need to apply at least six months prior to the start date of the desired term
