Successful candidates will have a proven record in research, innovative thinking, real-world problem solving, and fast prototyping and will register as PhD students at University of Western Ontario (UWO). They will conduct cutting-edge research with leading researchers at GE Healthcare, UWO, Robarts and London Health Science Center (LHSC) in the area of medical image analysis and visualization. They will gain opportunities to directly interact with radiologists for problem definition, development, and validation.
Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for a Canada NSERC industrial postdoc fellowship supported by GE Healthcare. For those who have obtained NSERC postdoc fellowship, a top up will be given based on the qualification.
We will consider graduate students with degrees from CS, ECE, physics, medical biophysics or other engineering discipline with an inter-disciplinary background in image processing and visualization, computer aided diagnosis, computer vision, pattern recognition, expert system or machine learning.
