I will be away from campus for a few weeks. What am I required to do?

Any student who will be away from campus for more than 2 weeks must complete a Off Campus Request Form. Forms must be completed 1 week prior to departure. Even if you are away from campus for research or to complete work required as part of an NSERC IPS, you still must complete this form and submit it to the Graduate Office before you leave.

How much is tuition?

Tuition and fee amounts are posted at the start of each term in your student centre. A detailed breakdown of tuition fees is also available from the Office of the Registrar. You can also visit the Engineering Department's Financial Planning page to view the Estimated Annual Cost of Living and Estimated Education Costs here at Western.

I am graduating this term. Now what?

Congratulations! Make sure that you enroll for graduation via the Student Centre before the end of term.  This will ensure your final grades are submitted on time and your name is included for Convocation.

For more information about Convocation, please visit the Convocation website.

I am an international student, and I am not sure where to live. What are my housing options?

When looking for a place to live, there are many things that you must consider such as how much you would like to spend on rent, who you want to live with, if you want to live alone and the ideal location of your student home. For more information on these considerations, please review the International & Student Exchange Centre and look through some of the options and supports for finding a place to live in London.

Pre-Arrival Assistance

Good news! Off-Campus Housing Services has tripled its staffing to provide pre-arrival assistance to students. They can verify and visit local rental listings on your behalf and review rental contracts. This service is available to students who face systemic barriers to housing, as well as new, incoming international students.

Summer Accommodation

Are you moving to the area and looking for a place to stay? Transitional housing for newly arriving graduate students will be available On-Campus from May to mid-August. The cost is $850 per month, and it's a great option to help you settle in.

Please visit the International & Exchange Student Centre's Finding Housing page for more information.
