Application Deadlines

  • Winter term:
    International Applicants: July 1
    Permanent Residents/Canadian Citizens: October 1
  • Summer term:
    International Applicants: December 1
    Permanent Residents/Canadian Citizens: March 15
  • Fall term:
    International Applicants: March 1
    Permanent Residents/Canadian Citizens: July 1

Travel Grant Information

  • Total 30 grants of $500 each in an academic year
  • 8 grants each in Fall and Winter and 14 grants in Summer term
  • Unused money is carried forward to the next term
  • Preference to first time applicants, in case of a competition
  • Applications are to be submitted to the Department Office, TEB 279
  • Travel Grants are reviewed as they are received by the Department
  • Once Travel Grant is approved TRAVEL EXPENSE FORM needs to be completed and submitted to the Engineering Financial Services for processing. PLEASE NOTE that you need to save all your receipts (including boarding passes) and your itinerary as these are the documents you will need in order to claim the money

To apply for Travel Grant please submit the following:

  1. Letter of acceptance
  2. Copy of paper
  3. Budget for registration, travel, stay etc.
  4. Indication of how the balance amount will be covered
  5. A letter from supervisor confirming all the information provided
