Spring Club

Every spring, Discovery Western offers a co-ed science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) club for students in Grades 3-8.

Spring Club runs for four Saturdays in the Spencer Engineering Building on the Western University campus during the months of May and June. The cost for the program is $80 which includes meeting with mentors, take home projects, snacks and much more! Registration is now closed - interested in registering for other programs? Email discover@uwo.ca.

Spring Fall club focusses on a variety of engineering streams with a mentor being brought in for each session, where possible. Past projects have included building a Rube Goldberg machine, making lava lamps and designing balloon powered cars.

Session dates to be released in February.

Our last meeting is an open house for parents and guardians to join us for a day of celebrating our participants accomplishments throughout the session. Each participant receives a certificate to mark the occasion.

We would like to make this program as accessible as possible, so if you require financial assistance please review our bursary application when registering your child.
